Case No. 291 of 2024 for the offence registered under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi, is pressed into motion. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that he is not named in the FIR and there is no material against him except confessional statement of the co-accused. Similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. It is submitted that the matter involves robbery in the jewelry shop by using fire arm. The petitioner was put on TIP and has been identified. Petitioner has criminal antecedents being involved in eighteen cases. Under the circumstance, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
