Delay condonation applications (IA/1/2025 and IA/2/2025) stand disposed of. Counter affidavits are taken on record. 2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners have sought the indulgence of this Court for a direction to respondent No.1 to decide and pass an appropriate order on the letters dated 02.09.2023 and dated 27.09.2023 sent by respondent No.2. 3. Learned counsel for petitioners contends that petitioner No.1 is working as Medicinal Herbs Supervisor since 1989 and petitioner No.2 is working as Maali since 1999, in the respondent-Herbal Development Unit of State Government under the Cooperative Department; later on in the year 2003, 158 posts in Herbal and Medicinal Herbal Development Plan under the Cooperative Department were allocated to different districts and offices of Cooperative Department and it was decided by the Government Order dated 18.12.2006 that the services of petitioners were governed under the UKHC010076752024 2026:UHC:6758 2 provisions of Uttarakhand Cooperative Societies Act, 2003 and Rules framed thereunder, till the Service Rules are framed and notified. 4. It is contended by learned counsel for petitioners that the draft Service Rules have already been sent by respondent No.2 on 26.08.2020 to the State Government, but till date, those Rules have not been notified. 5. The grievance of the petitioners is only limited to the extent that concerned respondent is directed to take a decision on those Service Rules and on recommendation dated 02.09.2023 and 27.09.2023 and to notify the same without any further delay, within a stipulated period. 6. Per contra, learned State Counsel submits that it is true that Draft Service Rules have been submitted to the State Government, but decision has yet not been taken thereon. 7. In such view of the matter, the writ petition is finally disposed of. Respondent No.1 is directed to take a decision upon the draft Service Rules sent on 26.08.2020 and recommendation dated 02.09.2023 and 27.09.2023, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 8.
