DATE : 11.09.2026 PER COURT : CIVIL APPLICATION NO. 10378/2026 IN FAST 1733/2025 By this Civil Application, the applicant, who was respondent in the First Appeal filed by the Union of India, seeks correction of his middle name in the title of the appeal and Civil Application. It is submitted that his middle name has been incorrectly shown as ‘Mahadeo’ instead of ‘Madhav’. In support, the applicant has placed on record his Aadhar Card and PAN Card. The discrepancy was noticed when the applicant approached the Registrar for withdrawal of the amount deposited by the Acquiring Body, resulting in his inability to withdraw the said amount. 2. Though the Union of India-Acquiring Body is served, none appears for the Union of India. 3. In view of aforementioned submissions made by the learned advocate for the applicant, the Civil Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause ‘B’ . 5. Civil Application stands disposed of. CIVIL APPLICATION NO. 10382/2026 IN FAST 1726/2025 6. By this Civil Application, the applicant, who was respondent in the First Appeal filed by the Union of India, seeks correction of his first name and surname in the title clause of the appeal and the Civil Application. It is submitted that his first name has been incorrectly shown as ‘Ram’ instead of ‘Rambhau’ and his surname as ‘Chawan’ instead of ‘Chavhan’. In support, the applicant has placed on record his Aadhar Card and PAN Card. The discrepancy was noticed when the applicant approached the Registrar for withdrawal of the amount deposited by the Acquiring Body, due to which he is unable to withdraw the said amount. 7. Though the Union of India-Acquiring Body is served, none appears for the Union of India. 8. The applicant, in support of his claim of first name and surname to be shown as ‘Rambhau’ and ‘Chawan’, annexed copy of Aadhar card as well as PAN Card. 9.
