Mr. Rishab Ranghar, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Pankaj Chaturvedi, learned counsel for respondent no. 1. 3. Mr. V.D. Bisen, learned Additional C.S.C. for the State of Uttarakhand. 4. The passport issued to petitioner has been revoked by invoking Section 10(3)(e) of Passports Act, 1967. Thus, feeling aggrieved petitioner has approached this Court challenging the order passed by Regional Passport Officer, Dehradun. 5. Learned counsel for respondent no. 1, however, submits that petitioner has remedy of appeal under Section 11 of the Passports Act, 1967. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the said contention. He, however, submits that out of five FIRs, which were registered against the petitioner, he has been exonerated by trial court in two cases; final report was filed in one case; in fourth case, even UKHC010132192026 2026:UHC:6748 though FIR was lodged in 2023 but no charge-sheet has been filed and fifth case is pending before learned trial court. 7. Be that as it may, since petitioner has remedy of appeal under Section 11 of the Passports Act, 1967, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to file appeal before the Chief Passport Officer. This Court hopes and expects that if appeal is filed within one week from today, the same shall be heard and decided within three months thereafter.
