JUSTICE RAJESH SHANKAR ----- For the Petitioners: Mr. Navin Kumar, Advocate For the Respondents: Mr. Aditya Raman, A.C to G.A-III ----- 10/15.01.2026 The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the concerned respondents to pay compensation to the petitioners for acquisition of their lands for the purpose of Jharkhand Jaguar (STF) Headquarter and Training Project as well as to pay damages for acquisition of the said lands without following the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 or the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Re- settlement Act, 2013. 2. Learned counsel for the State, on instruction, submits that so far as the petitioner Nos. 1 & 4 are concerned, the payment with respect to their respective lands has already been made. As regards the petitioner Nos. 2 & 3, despite being requested, they have not yet approached the office of the respondent No.5 to fill up and submit the required forms. So far as the petitioner No.5 is concerned, one more claimant has approached the respondent No.5 seeking compensation for the said part of the land and hearing in that respect is continuing. 2026:JHHC:1082 3. Considering the said submission, the petitioner Nos. 2 & 3 are at liberty to fill up and submit their respective required forms within two weeks from today, whereafter the respondent No.5 shall proceed with respect to payment of compensation for the said part of the land to them. 4. So far as the claim of the petitioner No.5 is concerned, the respondent No.5 is directed to take appropriate decision in accordance with law within four weeks from the date of the present order. 5.
