Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, appearing for the State respondent. 2. This application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, is preferred by the petitioner, namely, Rahim Ali @ Rohim Ali, who has been languishing in jail hazot since 09.05.2026, in connection with Boko P.S. Case Page No.# 2/2 No.112/2026 under Section 351(2)/115(2)/308(2)/108/3(5) of the BNS, for grant of bail. 3. The facts of the case in brief are that on 07.05.2026 an FIR was lodged by one Mahiruddin Ali at the Boko PS stating therein that on 05.05.2026 at about 9:30 p.m. While the informant's daughter Mofida Khatun along with her friend Barek Ali was watching mela at Tamuldi Laruwapar, the accused persons, namely, Taleb Ali, Manirul Ali, Akram Ali and Rahim Ali humiliated them and also physically assaulted them. They also collected Rs.50,000/- from Barek Ali and a fine. The informant's daughter could not bear that humiliation and on the next date she committed suicide in her paternal home by hanging herself. 4. Mr. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petitioner who is accused No.4 in the FIR, is the maternal uncle of the girl. It is also submitted that the accused Nos.1, 2 and 3, out of the 4 accused named in the FIR, approached this Court for pre-arrest bail and they were granted interim bail. 5. The case diary has been received. It is submitted by the prosecution that the girl was staying with her maternal uncle and due to mixing with the boy in one mela, she was rebuked and subsequently, she committed suicide. 6. I have given my consideration to the matter. Considering the progress of investigation and the length of detention, the petitioner herein is hereby allowed to go on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs.30,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Boko, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate with the remaining investigation and shall be available for trial, if one commences and shall not hamper or tamper with evidence. 7.
