Page No.# 2/2 This is an application under Section 430 BNSS for suspension of sentence and granting bail to the applicant/petitioner No. 2 during the pendency of the instant petition. It is submitted by Mr. Sikdar, learned counsel for the applicant/petitioners that after the impugned judgement dated 29.01.2026 passed by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Tinsukia in Crl. Appl. No. 17(3)/2024, he applied to remain on previous bail before the learned CJM, Tinsukia and that petition was rejected and the petitioner is in custody at this stage. He accordingly submitted that till the disposal of the connected petition, the petitioner may be allowed to go on bail and to suspend the sentence imposed on him, vide the above referred judgment. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the execution of order and sentence passed in Crl. Appl. No. 17(3)/2024 on 29.01.2026, upholding the judgment and order dated 18.06.2024 is hereby stayed/suspended till disposal of the connected revision petition and the applicant/petitioner No. 2 is hereby allowed to go on bail of Rs. 20,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Tinsukia, in connection with NI Case No. 79/2020. With the above observations, the IA is disposed of. However, the applicant/petitioner No. 2 is hereby directed to submit the compliance report before the Court on the next date of listing.
