The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Sidhgora P.S. Case No.117/2025, registered for the offence under Sections 85, 108, 3(5) of the BNS, pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that petitioner no.1 and petitioner no.2 in A.B.A. No.6722 of 2025 are the sister-in-law and brother-in-law of the deceased respectively and the petitioner in A.B.A. No.6851 of 2025 is the father-in-law of the deceased. ( 2026:JHHC:141 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 6722 of 2025 With A.B.A. No. 6851 of 2025 He further submits that the allegations are made that due to torture, the deceased has committed suicide. He draws attention of the Court to the counter-affidavit filed by the State and submits that in view of Annexure-A, nothing cogent has come against these petitioners and the charge-sheet has been submitted only against the husband and he is in custody. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State and informant jointly opposed the prayer and submit that the sister-in-law and brother-in-law are the main accused and they have instigated the deceased to take such step. Learned counsel for the State further submits that witnesses have supported the case of the prosecution in paras 8, 9 and 10 of the case diary. 5. Annexure-A is the document issued under the signature of Sub- Inspector of Police, Sidhgora Police Station, who is investigating the case and that is addressed to the learned A.P.P., wherein, it has been disclosed that charge-sheet has been submitted against the husband and nothing cogent has been received as yet against these petitioners. It transpires that the case is not registered against the petitioners under the provision of Dowry Prohibition Act. In the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners of both the cases. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of their arrest or surrender, they shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like ( 2026:JHHC:141 ) -3- A.B.A. No. 6722 of 2025 With A.B.A. No. 6851 of 2025 amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur in connection with Sidhgora P.S.
