The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with a prayer to issue appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondent No.1 to refer the dispute and the claim of the petitioner to the respondent No.2 i.e. Standing Settlement Committee, RRVPNL and to issue directions to the respondent No.2-Standing Settlement Committee to decide the claim of the petitioner expeditiously within a time bound programme. 2. Mr. Vikas Agarwal, Authorized Signatory of the petitioner submits that though the respondent No.1 on consideration of the representation of the petitioner has referred the matter to the [2026:RJ-JP:9861] (2 of 2) [CW-20503/2025] Standing Settlement Committee on 14.11.2025 but the Standing Settlement Committee has not decided the claim of the petitioner so far even after passing of more than two and half months. 3. Taking into consideration the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner and the facts on record and more particularly the fact that the matter has been referred to the Standing Settlement Committee on 14.11.2025 which is pending for adjudication for last more than two and half months, the Court feels that ends of justice would meet if the respondent No.2 i.e Standing Settlement Committee, RRVPNL is directed to decide the claim of the petitioner as early as possible. 4. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 i.e. Standing Settlement Committee to decide the claim of the petitioner in view of the dispute referred to it as early as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of submitting the certified copy of this order. 5.
