Side) ******* ORDER 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.11516 of 2026 The petitioner, who had earlier jumped bail, was issued a non-bailable warrant on 26.07.2023, pursuant to which he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.02.2026. The earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court, vide order dated 08.04.2026 in Crl.O.P.No.8735 of 2026. 2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a NBW was issued as against the petitioner on 26.07.2023 and that he was subsequently arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 05.02.2026. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent, while opposing the bail to the petitioner submitted that, the petitioner has absconded nearly three years and he was secured only on 05.02.2026. He also submitted that the petitioner has 46 previous cases, out of which 34 cases are still pending and further the petitioner has cases across the length and breadth of Tamil Nadu. He would contend that, if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, he may abscond again and hamper the trial process. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.11516 of 2026 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the past conduct of the petitioner, taking note of the fact that the petitioner has absconded for nearly three years and stalled the trial process, therefore if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, there is possibility of the petitioner absconding again and hamper the trial process, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.
