Mr.Pushpinder Jaswal, learned Additional Advocate General, accepts notice on behalf of respondents. By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “I. That the respondents may be directed to allow the petitioner to discharge his duty for a period of two years i.e. 31.05.2026 till 31.05.2028 along with all monetary benefits. II. That respondent may kindly be directed to consider and decide the representation dated 17.04.2026 submitted by the petitioner in time bound manner preferably before the retirement of the petitioner i.e. 31.05.2026.” 2. In light of the fact that the issue raised by the petitioner in this petition is pending adjudication before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, as agreed, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the parties shall abide by the final judgment passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Satya Devi’s case.
