JUSTICE PRAVEER BHATNAGAR Order 03/07/2026 1. The instant bail application has been filed under Section 483 BNSS on behalf of the accused-petitioner. The accused-petitioner has been arrested in connection with FIR No. 488/2026 registered at Police Station Muhana, District Jaipur City (South) for offence under Sections 8/20 of NDPS Act, 1985. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the recovered contraband article, i.e., Ganja weighing 1 Kg and 160 grams is below commercial quantity, there are no criminal antecedents registered against the accused-petitioner, he is behind the bars since 30.05.2026 and further trial/investigation of [2026:RJ-JP:24693] (2 of 2) [CRLMB-9392/2026] the case may take considerable time, therefore, the bail application of the petitioner may be allowed. 3. Learned Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the bail application. 4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the arguments advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner and looking to the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 30.05.2026 and further trial/investigation of the case may take considerable time, therefore, without commenting on the merits of the case, I deem it just and proper to enlarge the accused-petitioner on bail. 6. Accordingly, the bail application under Section 483 BNSS is allowed and it is ordered that the accused-petitioner Shailendra Singh S/o Late Shri Amar Singh, arrested in connection with FIR No. 488/2026 registered at Police Station Muhana, District Jaipur City (South) shall be enlarged on bail provided he furnishes a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each to the satisfaction of the learned trial Judge for his appearance before the court concerned on all the dates of hearing and as and when called upon to do so.
