This Court, vide order dated 13.02.2025, passed in MCRC No.8549 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Nilandri Yadav, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. Earlier, on 04.09.2025, this Court had granted time for compliance with the order dated 13.02.2025 regarding the conclusion of the trial. 4. The learned Special Judge, (NDPS) Saraipali District - Mahasamund (C.G.), vide his request letter dated 02.01.2026, has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from the perusal of the PUD that the statements of two prosecution witnesses have been recorded in the case. Upon securing the presence of the remaining nine witnesses, their evidence shall be recorded, followed by the statement of the accused, defence evidence, and final arguments. Consequently, the case is likely to be concluded shortly. Therefore, he prays for grant of a further period of four months to conclude the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
