Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 01.04.2026 on the basis of the present case which has been registered. The accusations against the petitioner are of deception for sexual assault upon the victim on the promise to marry. The investigation of the case has commenced very recently. Petitioner was taken into custody as the investigating agency required his presence. There are corroborations from the statement of the victim under Section 183 of the BNSS. Having regard to the same, I am not inclined to accept the other issues which have been canvassed and shown to be grounds of urgency. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage. 2 The application for bail, being CRM (M) 920 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
