Heard Mr. R. Rakshap, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. M. Kato, learned counsel for the opposite party/ Election petitioner.
2. By filing this application under Order VI Rule 17 Civil Procedure Code, 1908, the applicant is seeking some amendments and also for amending
Page No.# 2/2 the prayer portion of I.A. 130 (AP) 2026.
3. The applicant has specifically set out the amendment proposed to be carried out in Paragraphs No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 as well as the prayer portion of I.A. No. 130 (AP) 2026.
4. On the other hand, Mr. M. Kato, learned counsel for the opposite party/ Election petitioner has stated that there is objection to the proposed amendments.
5. In view of the above, as no prejudice is likely to be caused to the opposite party, this Court finds it proper to allow the application.
6. Accordingly, the application is allowed. The applicant is permitted to carry out the amendment in I.A. (C) 130 (AP) 2026 in terms of the amended application. The amended application shall form part of the record.
7. In terms of the above, this Interlocutory Application stands disposed of.
