Zaid Ahmed, Advocate For the State : APP --- 02/30.03.2026 Heard the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Khelari PS Case No. 73/2025. It has been alleged that the son of the informant was shot at and he died during treatment. The informant had received an information from the villagers that the petitioner and other accused persons were responsible for the death of his son on account of a dispute. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated only on suspicion. It has been submitted that there are no eye-witnesses to the occurrence and one of the similarly situated co-accused namely Himanshu Singh has been granted bail in B.A. No. 1445 of 2026. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner is in custody since 22.10.2025. The learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the manner of implication and the fact that one of the co-accused has been granted bail, as noted above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi in connection with Khelari PS Case No. 73/2025.
