It is submitted by Mr. Galib, learned counsel for the alleged contemnors that pursuant to an order of this Court dated 14th February, 2025, the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Paschim Medinipur passed an order directing refilling of the pond. The remainders of the fish in the pond that will be extinguished by refilling have been allowed to be harvested by the respondents. 2. It is also submitted that another writ petition being WPA 6746 of 2026 is pending before a Single Bench of this Court challenging the order of the Assistant Director of Fisheries, Paschim Medinipur dated 10th March, 2026. 3. In view of the matter, nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the contempt application. 2 4. Hence, the contempt application is disposed of with liberty reserve to agitate all points in the pending writ petition filed by the new writ petitioners referred hereinabove. All issues with regard to leasing out of any pond for pisciculture contrary to this Court’s order may also be adjudicated in the new writ petition. 5. Personal presence of the alleged contemnors, if any, is dispensed with. 6. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged. 7. There shall be no order as to costs. 8.
