This is an office reference. 2. This Court, vide order dated 29.01.2025 passed in MCRC No. 8878 of 2024, while allowing the bail of the applicants, namely, Seetaram Nayak and Malti Nayak, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of that order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also this Court had granted extension of time KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 for compliance of the order dated 29.01.2025. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raigarh District- Raigarh (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 20.03.2026 has requested for grant of three months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in the present case, except the Investigating Officer, Assistant Sub-Inspector Mastram Kashyap, the examination of all other material witnesses have already been completed. The said witness, Mastram Kashyap, could not be examined as he has been transferred to Bilaspur and upon issuance of summons through the Inspector General of Police, Bilaspur, the same was returned unserved with a note that the witness is hospitalized due to ill health. Thereafter, fresh summons have again been issued to the said witness through the Inspector General of Police, Bilaspur. It further reveals that summons are being sent to the Investigating Officer through the Inspector General of Police, Bilaspur and there is a strong likelihood that the trial shall be concluded within a period of three months. Therefore, it is most respectfully prayed that additional time of three months may graciously be granted for disposal of the case. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
