The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record. 2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities. 3. The petitioner is aggrieved that his prior service has not been considered while granting the retiral benefits. 4. Mr. Banerjee, learned Advocate for the State, submits that the petitioner had taken subsequent employment and had retired from the same school and is drawing pension from the said school since 2010. He also submits that the petitioner’s first appointment, sometime in 1979 in the Bejoygarh Vidyapith, was completely on an ad hoc basis on account whereof the issue of prior service cannot be considered. 2 5. In view of the representation made by the petitioner on November 14, 2025, which has not been considered yet, I direct the respondent no. 3 to consider such representation, strictly in accordance with law, by May 31, 2026. The resultant order of such consideration should be a reasoned order and should be communicated to the petitioner by June 15, 2026. 6. With these aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 7. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 8.
