Petitioner was initially working with respondent- Corporation as a Driver and subsequently, he was promoted as Conductor. Petitioner retired on 10.01.2023. 4. The grievance which has been canvassed by petitioner in present writ petition is that petitioner has not been paid certain amount i.e. arrears of salary amounting to Rs.1,68,903/- and further Rs.31,766/- towards the retiral dues. The petitioner has come up before this Court seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the aforesaid amount to him. 5. Since the petitioner has come up before this Court without making any representation or raising a demand from the respondents, therefore, this Court is not in a position to issue a writ of mandamus. However, in the interest of justice, since the petitioner is a retired employee of respondent-Corporation, UKHC010133642026 2026:UHC:6701 instant writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to respondent no.2 ventilating his grievance in detail within 15 days from today. If such a representation is so moved, respondent no.2 –Assistant General Manager (Finance) shall decide the representation of petitioner within a period of two months from the date of its receipt in accordance with law. 6.
