This writ petition was taken up for consideration by this Court on 16th April, 2026 and after concluding hearing an order was dictated in open Court. On the same day at the time of signing the order it was found on perusal of the communication dated 30th March, 2026 of Inspector of Police, Officer-in- Charge, Burwan Police Station, Murshidabad Police District that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 29th January, 2026 FIR was registered and a criminal prosecution being Burwan PS Case No. 122/26 dated 29th March, 2026 was initiated under Sections 303(2)/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Hence, it appears grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. 2. As no further order need be passed on this writ petition, writ petition stands disposed of. 3. Application being CAN 1 of 2026 is dismissed. 2 4. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 5. Unsigned order dated 16th April, 2026 shall be retained on record. 6.
