Heard Sri Y. Srinivasa Murthy, learned Senior Counsel, assisted by G. Sundaresan, learned counsel for the petitioners, and Sri Arjun, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the respondents. 2. The above writ petition was filed to declare the inaction of the 3rd respondent in considering the representation dated 29.07.2026 (Ex.P1), as illegal and arbitrary. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that, after chequered litigation, the petitioners made a representation dated 29.07.2026 (Ex.P1) to
the 3rd respondent to update the Record of Rights in respect of Ac.2.50 cents in R.S.No.462 of Rangapuram Village, Reddygudem Mandal, by virtue of registered gift deed document No.2016/2005 dated 29.06.2005. However, the same was not attended to. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue would submit that the proper course would be to file an application under Form VI-A, as contemplated under Rule 18(2) of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989. If the petitioners make such an application, the concerned authority will consider the same. 5. In reply, learned Senior Counsel would submit that the petitioners will make an application under Form VI-A as per Rule 18(2) of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989 by annexing all the relevant documents. 6. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission, with the consent of learned counsel appearing on either side, giving liberty to the petitioners to make an application under Form VI-A, as per Rule 18(2) of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Rules, 1989, to the proper authority by annexing all the documents. If such an application is made, the authority concerned shall strictly adhere to the procedure contemplated under the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 and the Rules made thereunder and pass such orders strictly as per the There shall be no order as to costs.
