The petitioner has filed the present writ petition with following prayer: “It is therefore humbly prayed that Your Lordship may graciously be pleased to accept and allow this writ petition and by an appropriate writ, order or direction:- 1. The respondents may be directed to consider the candidature of the humble petitioner under SC-widow Category instead of married Category for the post of Class IV in pursuant to the advertisement dated 12.12.2024 and the revised advertisement came to [2026:RJ-JP:11848] (2 of 2) [CW-4973/2026] be issued on 03.03.2025 by the respondents. (Annexure-1). 2. The mistake/inadvertent mistake of mentioning as Married marital status Category instead of widow category in the online application form may be condoned in view of the specific facts & circumstances in the interest of justice and accordingly for all practical purposes and further process of selection candidature of the humble petitioner may be allowed to be considered SC widow Category, in the interest of justice. 3. Any other appropriate order, which may be found just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, be passed in favour of the petitioner.“ 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be granted liberty to make a representation before the respondents in the light of order dated 02.01.2025 passed by Division Bench of this Court at Principal Seat, Jodhpur in D.B. Special Appeal (Writ) No. 1175/2024 decided on 02.01.2025. 3. In view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a representation before the Competent Authority, who shall consider and decide the same strictly in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of representation along with certified copy of this order. 4.
