This Court, vide order dated 29.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 4540 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Prakash Patel, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for conclusion of the trial vide order dated 02.01.2026 in CRMP No.3836/2024. The learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Raigarh, District – Raigarh (C.G.) through learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Raigarh (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 23.03.2026 has requested for grant of 01 month’s time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the present case is at the stage of defense evidence, and 03 defense witnesses have been examined by the trial Court and 02 witnesses are yet to be examined, and the trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of 01 month’s time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of 01 month from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
