The petitioner is working as a Doctor on contractual basis in the Department of Ayurvedic and Unani Services of the State. The age of superannuation for the doctors working on contractual basis is 60 years. The petitioner would thus retire on 31.08.2026. He is seeking parity with specialist doctors in National Health Mission, in respect of whom, it is submitted that the age of superannuation has been enhanced to 65 years. 2. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the representation made by the petitioner to the State Government for enhancing the age of superannuation to 65 years, be directed to be considered expeditiously. 3. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merit, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the State Government to consider and decide the representations dated 22.05.2026 and 26.05.2026 filed by the petitioner, within six weeks from the date of communication of the instant order. 5.
