Though the matter is not listed today, on being mentioned by learned counsel for the petitioner, it is taken up on Board by a Special Notice. 2. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 3. Instant I.A. is filed seeking extension of time for the petitioner to surrender in view of the order in the ABLAPL. 4. The stipulated time during which the petitioner was directed to surrender has already expired and considering the same and the reason assigned for the default on his part and recording the objection of the State, this Court is inclined to extend the period of surrender. 5. I.A. is accordingly allowed and disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to surrender before the learned court below within a fortnight from today in compliance of the order in the ABLAPL.
