Mr. Pankaj Singh Chauhan, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned A.G.A. for the State. 3. Mr. Saurabh Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the respondent in the connected writ petition. 4. Mr. Tumul Nainwal, learned A.G.A., on instructions apprise to this court that the grievances of the petitioners of both the petitions are now redressed and, therefore, to this extent the writ petition is rendered now infructuous. 5. He further submits that in reference to the other directions as reflected from the order dated 17.06.2026 with regard to new excise policy for the purposes of locating liquor shop the matter is under consideration before the Government and the proper steps shall be taken for the purposes of allocating the liquor shop in a proper place so that the habitants of the area may not have any objection for such location. 6. He also submits that the authorities shall keep in mind the sentiments of the habitants so that the opening of liquor shop in the prime location of the city may not affect the future of the UKHC010059562026 school going children. 7. Subject to the undertaking as given on instructions by the learned A.G.A. both the petitions now disposed of and this court hope and trust that the Government will frame a proper policy for locating liquor shop in proper place so that the habitants of the area may not raise any objection but before locating any such shop the authority should keep in mind that the sentiments of the habitants, their children and women may not be hurt. 8. Registry is directed to send the copy of this order to the Chief Secretary, the Secretary Excise and to the Excise Commissioner for proper implementation and necessary compliance as per the mandate and spirit of this order.
