1. The only grievance of the petitioners in the present writ application is that the Ministry of tourism has issued certificate to the petitioners for tourism service provider/tour operator and adventure tour operator (green shots). After obtaining the said certificate, the petitioners have made a request to the District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur for grant of no objection for conducting water sports activities at Digha and Mandarmani, Purba Medinipur. He submits that in spite of receipt of the said representation till date the authorities have not considered the representation made by the petitioners for grant of no objection certificate for conducting water sports activities to the petitioners at Digha as well as Mandarmani.
2. Considered the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners perused the materials on record, this Court finds that the only grievance of the petitioners that the authorities are not considered the representation of the petitioners.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 2 or the competent authority to consider the application filed by the petitioners dated
2 12.11.2025 and 21.11.2025 after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and to pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
4. WPA 1802 of 2026 is disposed of.
5. Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
