Heard Sri Srinivas Ambati, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri G. Divya Theja, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, appearing for the respondents. 2. The petitioner made an application bearing No.TTA012600137390, dated 22.01.2026 (Ex.P1) to delete the land of an extent of Ac.4.0 cents in Sy.No.354/3B of Merlapaka Village, Yerpedu Mandal, Tirupati District from the list the prohibitory properties under Section 22A(1)(a) of the Registration Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’). However, the same has not been considered so far. Page 3 of 4

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the property was assigned to the petitioner’s husband vide Ex.P2. Thereafter, the records were updated. The copy of the patta is filed as Ex.P2. The passbook, title deed and other relevant revenue records were filed as Exs.P4 to P7. Though the application was made in January, 2026, no order has been passed so far.
4. Sri G. Divya Theja, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, would submit that the application made by the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondent No.3. He would also submit that respondent No.3 will consider the application made by the petitioner and pass a speaking order.
5. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, keeping the writ petition pending and inviting a counter-affidavit will not serve any purpose. Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of
learned counsel appearing on either side, directing the learned respondent No.3 to consider the Ex.P1 application made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, strictly as per law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, by affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The petitioner is at liberty to place all the relevant material during the course of hearing/enquiry. No
order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
