Issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the Respondent to add the name of the petitioner institution in the category of recognized institutions and add the name of the petitioner institution in the list of recognized institutions which is uploaded on the official website of the respondent NCTE; B. Issue a Writ of Mandamus enabling the petitioner to participate in counselling and admit students for D.EL.ED (PTC) course for Academic Year 2026- 2027. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that Petitioner No. 1 institution, namely Valmiki Adhyapan Mandir, is an existing teacher training institution and was granted recognition by the Respondent/NCTE for conducting the D.EL.ED (PTC) course vide Recognition Order dated 07.11.2003. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that despite the recognition granted to the petitioner institution continuing to remain valid and operative, the name of the petitioner institution has not been reflected in the list of recognized institutions uploaded on the official website of the Respondent/NCTE. It is submitted that on account thereof, the petitioner institution is being denied participation in the counselling/admission process for the Academic Session 2026-2027. 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, who appears on advance notice, on instructions submits that the respondents have no objection if the present petition is allowed subject to verification of the status of Petitioner No. 1 institution by the respondents. 6. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to verify the status of Petitioner No. 1 institution and, if upon such verification the petitioner institution is found to be a recognized institution, the respondents shall update the status of the petitioner institution in the list of recognized institutions available on the official website of the NCTE within a period of four weeks. 7. Thereafter, communication to this effect shall be sent to the affiliated body as well as the Department of Higher Education, Government of Gujarat, within a period of two weeks from the date the status is uploaded.
