This bail application has been filed on behalf of Uttam Kumar Sinha who is in custody since 01.09.2025 in connection with Putki (Munidih O.P) P.S. Case No. 82 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 303(2), 317(5), 318(4), 338, 334(1), 340(2), 61(2) of the BNS, 2023 pending in the Court of CJM Dhanbad is pressed into motion.
As per the FIR, petitioner was apprehended during a regular search, petitioner was apprehended with a motorcycle which on verification found to be stolen. Further, preliminary inquiry revealed that he was using sim cards issued by company operating in Bangladesh. Other documents of identification issued in the name of different persons total 18 in number was also seized from his conscious physical possession and currency notes of Bangladesh and Bahrain were recovered and seized from him.
It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that he has been implicated in this case only on the basis of suspicion. There is no independent witness of the seizure list.
Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has criminal antecedent of being involved in offences of serious nature and was involved in trans-national racket of trafficking of persons and labours. The Investigation has already been concluded and charge-sheet has been submitted against the accused person. There is flight risk in case if bail is granted.

Considering the gravity and nature of offence and criminal nexus with trans-national connections, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, is hereby, rejected.
