The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is not in touch with his office. For the past six years, the Petitioner has not paid the batta or process fee for effecting service of notice on Respondent No.1. 3. The matter has been posted under the caption “for dismissal”. However, no steps have been taken by the Petitioner. Keeping the matter pending further would serve no useful purpose. 4. The Petitioner has suffered concurrent convictions for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (for brevity, “the N.I. Act”) and has been sentenced to undergo imprisonment for six months. 5. In view of the above circumstances, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed for non-payment of process fee for service of notice on Respondent No.1. There shall be no order as to costs. 6. Issue NBW to the Petitioner through Superintendent of Police, Kakinada. 7.
