JUSTICE BHUWAN GOYAL Order 03/07/2026 [2026:RJ-JP:24811-DB] (2 of 2) [HC-100/2026] 1. This habeas corpus petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner – Kunj Bihari Meena. 2. Today the concerned police officials have produced the corpus before us. The corpus is minor, her date of birth is 14.07.2008 and this fact has been confirmed by counsel for the petitioner as well as by learned Government Advocate-cum- Additional Advocate General. 3. We have interacted with the corpus and she has firmly stated before us that she does not want to go and live with the petitioner (her father). 4. Considering the fact that the corpus is minor and below 18 years of age, we direct the concerned SHO to admit the corpus in the Rajkiya Balika Grah, Gandhi Nagar, Jaipur today itself till she attains the age of majority, i.e. 18 years. 5. In that view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition stands disposed of and the parents of the corpus are at liberty to meet the corpus in the Rajkiya Balika Grah, Gandhi Nagar, Jaipur as per the Rules. However, the corpus is at liberty to go and live with her parents if she so wishes. 6. A copy of this order be provided to the learned Government Advocate and a copy be also sent to the Superintendent/Care Taker of Rajkiya Balika Grah, Gandhi Nagar, Jaipur for necessary compliance.
