The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief :- “(a) for issuance of appropriate writ/ order in nature of certiorari for quashing of the letter no.594, dated 08/12/2023 (Annexure – 7), issued by the Circle Officer, Jhinkpani (Respondent No.-3) and direct the Respondent No.3 for correct enquiry report and settle 5 acres of land in the name of the Petitioner and further mutate his name in the revenue records and for issuing rent receipts in the name of the Petitioner as he is a landless person falling under the category covered by the letter no.08, Kh. M. Niti- 1012/80-70/Ra, dated 26.02.1982 (Annexure - ) by which in Chotanagpur and Santhal Pargana 5 acres of land can be settled with suitable landless persons.” 2.
