The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the property for which the petitioner has sought Patta is classified as a graveyard (Maiyanam). 3. In view of the above submission, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner cannot seek assignment of a particular survey number in its name. Moreover, the petitioner is a Trust. Therefore, the question of acceding to the prayer of the petitioner does not arise. However, it is open to the petitioner to submit a representation seeking assignment of land, and the authority concerned may consider the same, if the petitioner is otherwise entitled, in accordance with the rules and conditions laid down by the Government. 4.
