"i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding respondent nos. 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners from respondent no. 3, who allegedly seeks to endanger the lives of the petitioners in the name of family honour, as the petitioners have solemnized their marriage against the wishes of respondent nos. 3 to 5 and other family members of petitioner no. 1."

31.05.2026. Thereafter, their marriage was registered under Rule 7(1)(g) of the Uniform Civil Code Rules, Uttarakhand, 2025, on 01.06.2026.
