ORAL ORDER
In this petition, petitioner seeks the following reliefs:
“ a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s Representation dated 09.01.2026 (received on 12.01.2026) as per Annexure-A seeking appointment on compassionate grounds on account of the demise of her husband, Late Sri.G.C.Vishnu Kumar, while in service under the Respondent-Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited, within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon’ble Court.
b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ,
order to direction directing the Respondents to disburse the admissible terminal and death benefits payable to the petitioner arising out of the service of her deceased husband, in accordance with law;
c) Pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and

circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for respondent No.1 and learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3 and perused the material on record.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioners that her representation at Annexure – A dated 09.01.2026 submitted to the respondent No.2 has not been considered so far by respondent No.2 nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court by way of present petition.
4. Per contra, learned counsel for the respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, the respondents would consider and pass necessary order on the said representation.
5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and rival submissions, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioner and consider her representation at Annexure – A dated 09.01.2026 and pass

appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Subject to the aforesaid observations and directions, the petition stands disposed of.
