Sarmah, learned Addl. Senior Govt. Advocate. Page No.# 2/3 2. The applicant is the petitioner in the connected WP(C) 1481/2026. This Court by order dated 01.06.2026 passed in WP(C) 1481/2026, while issuing notice along with the prayer for bail in respect of the applicant, granted 10(ten) days time from the date of the order for the applicant to appear before the Superintendent of Police (Border), Barpeta and take bail. 3. It is submitted that upon approaching the said authority the applicant came to know that the records were transferred to the Superintendent of Police (Border), Baksa. Accordingly, the prayer is made to implead the Superintendent of Police (Border), Baksa as respondent no. 7. 4. Having heard the learned standing counsel for the FT and Border matters in the matter as indicated in this application, the prayer is allowed. 5. The applicant is permitted to implead the Superintendent of Police (Border), Baksa as respondent no. 7. The learned counsel for the applicant shall produce a freshly typed out cause title and hand it to the A.O.J. (F.T. section) for being incorporated in the writ petition and updating the CIS data. 6. It is noted that the concerned District Commissioner, Barpeta is arrayed as respondent no.5 in the connected writ petition. Therefore the applicant shall also have to make a separate application for impleading the jurisdictional District Commissioner as party respondent. 7. The applicant is granted 10(ten) days time from the date of the order to appear before the Superintendent of Police (Border), Baksa and to take bail in terms of the order dated 01.06.2026, passed in WP(C) 1481/2026. 8. In the event, the applicant appears before the said authority within the said extended time, the said authority shall act in accordance in terms of the order dated 01.06.2026 passed in WP(C) 1481/20026. This order shall be read together with the order passed on 01.06.2026 in WP(C) 1481/2026 and the reference to Superintendent of Police (Border), Barpeta as contained in paragraph-9 of the said order shall be read as Superintendent of Police (Border), Baksa. 10.
