Heard the parties. 2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- “(i) For direction to respondent No.1 and 2 to conduct a fresh election of Ward Councellor of Ward No.14 of Hussainabad Nagar Panchayat due to the fact that nomination paper of the petitioner has been rejected without supplying the checklist by the respondent no.3 on the date of filing of nomination paper on 02.02.2026 to cure the formal defects regarding filing of the caste certificate in terms of Schedule-II. (ii). For direction to keep in abeyance the declaration of the election of respondent no.5 who is only another candidate for the Ward Councellor in Ward No. 14 during the pendency of instant writ petition. 2026:JHHC:6250 Page No.2 W.P.(C) No.1416 of 2026 (iii). For direction to respondent no.1 & 2 about the role of the Returning Officer (Respondent no.4) to act accordance with the guideline issued for the Municipal Election, 2026 in particular Clause- 27 of the Chapter-II regarding the supplying of the checklist to the candidate at the time of the submission of nomination paper and then scrutiny has been done of the nomination paper.” 3. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to work out his remedy in accordance with law. 4. Learned counsel for the other side has raised no objection. 5. Permission is granted. Accordingly, the present writ petition is hereby, disposed of as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
