Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 321 days. Charge sheet has already been submitted. However, the alleged recovery, in the present case is 2.63 Kgs. of Brown Sugar from the possession of the petitioner and another. Learned advocate for the State submits that commercial quantity of contraband has been seized in connection with the instant case. Having considered the quantum of seizure, I am of the view that the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 557 of 2026 is rejected. 2 All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
