For Petitioner : Mr.S.Abdul Rahim Javed For R1 to R3 : Mr.P.Subbaraj Special Government Pleader ***** O R D E R This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first to third respondents to conduct a survey and fix the boundaries of the properties comprised in the following Survey Numbers: 1. S.No.646/4 measuring an extent of 0.46 Hectares; 2. S.No.646/5 measuring an extent of 0.43 Hectares; 3. S.No.646/7 measuring an extent of 0.37 Hectares; 4. S.No.646/8 measuring an extent of 0.32 Hectares; totalling an extent of 1.58.0 Hectares, situated at Vanniconendal, Tirunelveli District, in pursuance of Petition No.2025/0123/29/005579 dated 25.08.2025 submitted by the petitioner and to complete the said survey within such time as may be fixed by this Court. _____________ Page No. 2 of 5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD) No.4984 of 2026 2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that an online application has been made for the survey of the properties in question and for demarcation of boundaries. 4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first to third respondents, on instructions, would submit that after consideration of the claims of the parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the properties in question in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923. 5. Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 25.08.2025, survey and demarcate the petitioner’s properties after consideration of the claims of all parties including the fourth respondent and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
