Petitioners Ms. Devi Priya Mitra …for the petitioners Ms. Sayanti Santra Mr. Abhinaba Mukherjee …for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. There are case and counter case between the private parties. The petitioners have also suffered injuries. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She relies on the statements of witnesses, including those of victims, which clearly implicate the petitioners. She also refers to the medical papers, which show infliction of fracture injuries on a victim. There are fractures of the bilateral nasal bones, bony nasal septum and fracture of the left zygomatic arch. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
