Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the factual aspects on record, I am of the considered opinion that the petitioners being son and daughter of Sri. K.G. Karumbaiah seeking change of name of their father in the education records, it is open for the father of the petitioners for rectification of education records by producing the judgment and decree that may be passed in the suit for declaration before the competent Civil Court.
