The petitioner is alleging that her son namely Rohit Kesar lost his life in a hit and run accident regarding which FIR No. 0195 dated 17.04.2025 under Section 281, 125 (a) of BNS, 2023 has been registered at Police Station, Kathua and alleged that despite registration of a case, the investigating agency has not proceeded in the case in accordance with law and no considerable development has been made in the investigation after registration of FIR. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aggrieved of the inaction on the part of the investigating agency to conclude the investigation of the case expeditiously so that the offenders are brought to justice. In view of the pleadings and submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of at this stage, with a direction to the investigating agency, particularly, SHO Police Station, Kathua to expedite the investigation of the case to conclude it and take it to a logical end. 4.
