The Court made the following order:
The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of Respondents in not releasing the financial assistance of Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only), to the daughter of the petitioner (Application I.D. No.OV2018121212) under 'NTR Videshi Vidyadarana' Overseas Scholarship scheme, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The petitioner’s daughter by name Mugudi Nuvarna Parvathi completed B-Tech Engineering - Mechanical in SRKR Engineering College, Bheemavaram and thereafter applied for the Scholarship under Videshi Vidydarana, with the 6th respondent herein to pursue her studies in abroad under Application ID No. OV2018121212 as she was selected to pursue her Masters Course at IPEG College situated in Paris of France Country. On such application she was selected for the Videshi Vidyadarana Scholarship under the BC-D Category as per 4th Respondent's Proceedings
Order No.B1/3112/2019, Dt.11.12.2019 vide serial number is 29 and under the said proceedings she would get a financial assistance of Rs. 10,00,000/- to pursue her studies abroad as per the sanction of funds by the Government as per Proceedings Order of G.O.Rt No.174 dated 07.12.2017 r/w. G.O.Ms.No.29 dated 27.08.2016. Inspite of selecting as an eligible candidate for the said scholarship as per 4th Respondent's Proceedings Order No.B1/3112/2019, Dt.11.12.2019 and inspite of sanction of funds by the Government as per Proceedings Order of G.O.Rt No.174 dated 07.12.2017 r/w. G.O.Ms.No.29 dated 27.08.2016 the respondents did not release the financial assistance of

Rs. 10,00,000/- to the petitioner’s daughter. On 28.07.2025 the petitioner made a representation before the 5th & 6th Respondents for releasing of the financial assistance to his daughter as per 4th Respondent's Proceedings
Order No.B1/3112/2019, Dt. 11.12.2019, but the respondents did not responded to the said representation. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed.
3. Learned Government Pleader representing respondent No.4 submits that the application of the Petitioner would be considered and amounts would be sanctioned, if the daughter of the petitioner is within the conditions specified, for release of the amounts.
4. Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with the following directions:-
(i) The Respondents are directed to examine the claim of the daughter of Petitioner within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. (ii) In the event, the claim of the daughter of the petitioner is held to be in order, the Respondents are directed to release the amounts to her within a further period of eight (08) weeks. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
