The applicants are challenging the charge sheet arising out of FIR dated 09.09.2023, bearing Case Crime No. 0545 of 2023, P.S. Kotwali Roorkee District Haridwar wherein both the applicants have been charge sheeted for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 385 and 506 IPC. 5. Now compounding application IA No. 7 of 2026 has been moved, supported with the affidavits of the applicants and the complainant, with this contention that both the parties have settled their disputes and their relations are very cordial and both applicant no. 2 and respondent no. 3 are real sisters. 6. Both the applicants are present in Court and are identified by their counsel. Respondent no. 3 also joined the proceeding through V.C. 7. It is argued by the learned counsel for UKHC010184652024 2026:UHC:6431 the parties that though the offences in which charge sheet has been filed are non- compoundable but since dispute was nothing but a family dispute which they have resolved, therefore, with the leave of the Court the offences can be compounded. 8. The State counsel has no objection. 9. After hearing the arguments of the learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration that the parties have resolved their family disputes amicably, therefore, this Court is of the view that the continuation of the proceeding is nothing but will be a futile exercise. 10. Accordingly, the compounding application as well the C528 application are allowed. Charge sheet dated 03.10.2026 arising out of FIR dated 09.09.2023, bearing Case Crime No. 0545 of 2023, P.S.
