Goswami, learned Additional P.P. for the State. This is an application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 in connection with Page No.# 2/3 Boko P.S. Case No. 153/2026, under Sections 69/77/351(3) of the BNS. As per allegation made in the FIR by the informant who is 32 years old lady, the accused person induced her into having physical relationship with him and thereafter, has been blackmailing her for the past one and half years. On the previous date i.e., 03.06.2026, the wife of the present petitioner had lodged an FIR against the husband of the present informant making substantially similar nature of allegations. In the meantime, the petitioner has spent 48 days behind bars. Having regard to the nature of the allegations and the period of detention, the prayer for bail is allowed. It is provided that the petitioner in the event of his arrest in connection with the aforesaid cases may be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 30,000/- with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Elaka Magistrate. It is further provided that the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not try to influence the witnesses in any manner. It is further provided that the petitioner shall not try to tamper or hamper with the evidence. Page No.# 3/3 The petition is disposed of accordingly. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
