The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- 2 “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to release the remaining arrears of salary under the Chhattisgarh Pay Revision Rules, 2017 (Seventh Pay Scale) for the period of approximately 17 months in favour of the petitioner, in lump sum, in terms of the notification dated 08.08.2018 along with arrears and interest of 18% or such other interest as this Hon’ble Court deem fit from the date of retirement till date of payment. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other writ/writs, order/orders, relief/reliefs in favour of the petitioner, which the Hon’ble Court deemed fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case, including awarding of the costs to the petitioner.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner while working on the post of Chief Executive Officer, District Self-Employed Cooperative Development Committee, District – Korba, (C.G.) retired from services after attaining the age of superannuation on 31.07.2020. During his service period, petitioner became entitled for the arrears of the pay of 7th Pay Commission. Respondent No. 2 has considered and calculated the arrears of the pay of petitioner along with other employees vide order dated 16.12.2019 (Annexure P/3) wherein, a sum of Rs. 1,91,618/- has been shown to be due to the petitioner towards the arrears of 7th Pay Commission, however, till date, the said amount has not been disbursed. Petitioner has made several requests to the respondent authorities and thereafter, submitted representation on 05.02.2025 and 18.09.2025 (Annexure P/7), but till date, it has not been considered and decided and therefore, direction be issued to the Respondent No. 2 to take decision on the pending representations at the earliest within specified time. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State would submit that claim of the petitioner is against the Respondent No. 2 for whom, he is not appearing. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 3 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation dated 05.02.2025 and 18.09.2025 (Annexure P/7) submitted by the petitioner on its own merits in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of representation. 6.
