The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the land in which the petitioner seeks permission to run an amusement ride, is a water body and PWD officials have raised an objection for putting up any festival shops or using the same for festival purposes. In such circumstances, no permission would be granted either to have the festival shops or to run an amusement ride in survey number 73, which is classified as Thayamangalam Kanmai. 3. In view of the written instructions received from the third respondent, the prayer sought for in the writ petition cannot be granted.
