Mr. Iqbal Kabir Ms. Debjani Sahu ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the subject matter of the case relate to alleged recovery of 125 Kgs. of Ganja from the joint possession of the petitioner and 3 others. Learned advocate submits that petitioner is in custody for 478 days. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. Having considered the quantum of contraband seized, I am of the view that the rigors of Section 37 NDPS Act is 2 attracted. As such, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 553 of 2026 is rejected. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
